Barukh atah Adonai, Eloheinu, melekh ha'olam

asher kidishanu b'mitz'votav v'tzivanu

l'had'lik neir shel Shabbat. (Amein)

Shabbos Candle Lighting - Translation

Blessed are you, L-rd, our G-d, sovereign of the universe

Who has sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us

to light the lights of Shabbat. (Amen)

The Blessing over the Candles are traditionally said by the woman of the house when available, every friday night.
